Accounting and Executive Search has partnered with a well-established, multiple location restaurant in Tulsa, OK to secure a new Executive Chef for their expanding restaurant enterprise. The Executive Chef must be creative and proficient in all aspects of traditional Italian food preparation with the ability to continue preparing menu favorites while creating new, exciting dishes!

The Executive Chef will have potential to work into ownership, display strong leadership abilities, be front house facing, and assist in the growth and opening of future locations.

In this position, you will be responsible for complete oversight of the kitchen operations. This includes planning the menu, training the cooks, purchasing all food items while being fiscally responsible, and working closely with the General Manager. This role includes interacting with dining guests and fellow employees in a polite and courteous manner while projecting gracious hospitality.

The successful candidate will have the following:
• Proven experience creating unique Italian dishes and menu items
• Keep up with cooking trends and best practices
• Creativity incorporating seasonal ingredients in Italian cuisine
• Well-rounded chef with experience creating and preparing pastries and desserts
• Strong emphasis on cleanliness of kitchen and staff
• Quality and consistency of food preparation
• Oversee menus and food costs for catering, large groups and banquet facilities
• Excellent rapport with GM and owners
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
• Strong leader with ability to build and grow a team
• Excellent communication skills – be relatable and put others at ease

• Ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of culinary experience
• Associate degree in Culinary Arts preferred
• Demonstrated financial acumen with P&L statements and labor models
• Be comfortable as the “face of the restaurant” and maintain professional decorum

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
• Must be able to stand, lift and bend for extended periods of time
• Must be able to bend and lift to 50 lbs
• Role may include job duties or tasks requiring repetitive motion

• Must be able to work and remain focused in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
