Description

Accounting and Executive Search has partnered with a Tulsa, OK based insurance and mortgage company to find an experienced Senior Accountant to join their expanding team.

In this newly created position, you will be responsible for tracking all of the cash and investments, monitoring and managing the cash flow, tracking loan operations, analyzing the financial reports, preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and monitoring internal controls. In this role, you will be required to stay current on changing GAAP policies, have knowledge of Statutory changes and updates, implement improvements in efficiencies, and work well in a team environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• CPA strongly preferred
• Previous experience in accounting required
• Insurance and/or public accounting experience preferred
• Proficient in accounting software packages, as well as Excel
• Effective communication skills
